Some Of My Works 73

Here’s another stack of works done a few months ago from the series “Mongolfiere” (Hot-air Balloons).

Mongolfiere (Hot-Air Balloons) is a sketchbook filled with altered vintage portraits ready to fly. I wanted to imagine the extension of each photo as an imaginary abstract world. Each subject represents a floaty and colourful balloon that walks freely into time and space.

See the whole collection below and let me know what do you think!

Some Of My Works 72

This is a mini series created for the Februllage challenge on Instagram, I had so much fun making them šŸ™‚

For this project I used vintage and new paper cuts, combined with acrylic pens and dotty stickers for the decorations. The whole collection is on sale in my website, enjoy!

About the series
ā€œFebrullageā€ is an online challenge organised during February 2021 from the Scandinavian Collage Museum and Edinburgh Collage Collective. The project was to create every day of the month a piece following up a specific daily topic, using your personal collage technique. I wanted to give to this challenge a go, mixing up my decorating style with some paper cut interventions.
