Purple Crafts – Mariko Kusumoto

Amazing accessories!

The Japanese designer Mariko Kusumoto creates unique dreamy jewellery. I was particularly intrigued by her fiber creations, where organic forms taken from nature are the main topic of each product.

Her way to manipulate textiles and colours is extremely elegant and delicate. I also love the translucency/transparency combinations of the selected textiles, that give to each piece a very original touch.

Well done!

Purple Crafts – Secret Wood

Nature to wear!

The Canadian brand Secret Wood creates fine handmade rings with a dreamy twist. Each piece is realised  mixing fresh wood and coloured jewelry resin.

The magical switch is in the details – inside each ring you can see a miniature surreal scenery that takes inspiration from nature.

You can literally bring a landscape with you, isn’t it cool? For now the the brand produces just rings, but they are planning to create pendants too. Can’t wait to see them!

Purple Crafts – Nepinka

Super!

I love the conceptual beaded jewelry by Nepinka where nature, anatomy and a geeky style meet together.

The designer behind this awesome store realizes one of a kind jewelry inspired by natural elements as flowers or plants and anatomical human parts.

The unusual meet between these two elements makes these products unique, and of course more close to an art piece “ready to wear” rather than a simple fancy jewel.
