Inspired – Connolly James

Love it!

I just discovered Connolly James‘ artworks and I am totally super thrilled! Even if the New York based artist just paints on these old LP covers, I consider the final result as a kind of collage. The fact that he covers or re-elaborates the subjects, is something that I feel very close to my way of conceiving “the making of” a collage.

So, below you can find his awesome works, enjoy!

Marie Elaine Lalonde – Géomorphogenèse

Gorgeous!

The Canadian artist Marie Elaine Lalonde shows us her personal point of view in observing nature. I was particularly intrigued by her Géomorphogenèse series, where breathtaking landscape pictures become bold monochromatic art pieces.

Using the screenprint technique on wood and acrylic paint, Marie Elanie reinvents the landscape, transforming it into a magical and unreal world. Below some of my fave works of this series, enjoy!

GIVEAWAY – LAST DAYS!

Thomas Blanchard – The Colors Of Feelings

Colors in motion!

Not so long ago I posted a similar video, I deeply love these kind o f experiments, especially when they are so well executed. So here we go again with another awesome work about colors.

In this case the project was realized by Thomas Blanchard, where he played with paint, oil, milk, honey and cinnamon to realize this stunning “colors splash” video.

Chocolate Paint By Nendo

Yummy!

Nendo created Chocolate Paint, a box full of sweet tubes of “oil paint”, entirely made of chocolate.

Chocolates like a set of oil paints. Tubes in a box of paints contain a variety of colours, and these chocolates a variety of flavoured syrups. The labels indicate each chocolate’s flavour and also function as wrappers, keeping fingers clean for eating. A design that combines the childhood excitement of opening a new box of paints and the thrill of opening a box of chocolates you’ve been given unexpectedly.
