Amy Friend – Dare Alla Luce Series
With the title “Dare Alla Luce“, the Canadian photographer Amy Friend wants to play with words and concepts with her stunning photographic series. “Dare alla luce” is an Italian phrase used to describe the moment of birth.
In this work the artist made little interventions on vintage photographs allowing light to pass through them, then she photographs the result, where light plays a primary role.
I love the surreal final effect of this series.
