Design – Phalena Atelier

It took me by pleasant surprise to discover that behind this fab brand was hiding Serenella, an old Academy school mate of mine. I had no doubt that she would be a successful artist, and this is just the proof of what I thought! I am so proud to see her evolution into this intriguing design concept.

Phalena Atelier (by Serenella Tommassini) delivers a series of handmade pieces as jewellery, ceramics and illustration – all dipped into mythical, folk and symbolist stories. The beautiful aesthetic is the “fil rouge” that put all together, and brings us into a magic and mysterious atmosphere.

You can also find her on Instagram.

Purple Crafts – Mariko Kusumoto

Amazing accessories!

The Japanese designer Mariko Kusumoto creates unique dreamy jewellery. I was particularly intrigued by her fiber creations, where organic forms taken from nature are the main topic of each product.

Her way to manipulate textiles and colours is extremely elegant and delicate. I also love the translucency/transparency combinations of the selected textiles, that give to each piece a very original touch.

Well done!

I just love the creations by the Greek designer Olga, full of bright color combinations, simple and chic. Her necklaces are made by polymer clay, in addition she uses other materials as cotton, leather, wood and paint.

The minimal final result is stunning and I couldn’t resist, so I bought a necklace for me! As you can see from the pictures above, I received a nice packaging and a perfect necklace. You can find her on Etsy, the shop is called Floti.
