I love the “Great Masters of Art Remix” series realised by the Italian artist Edoardo De Falchi. The artist creates a clever melting pot of classic paintings to realise a brand new point of view of these art pieces.

Inspired – Rossana Taormina

So inspired!

This week I show you the amazing hand stitched collages by the Italian artist Rossana Taormina.

Her interventions, done with simple cotton or silk threads, are composed of geometric and minimal elements done directly on vintage portraits (yes!).

The Italian artist Benedetto Demaio brings us into a magical and visionary world through his stunning photos. I love how he can create a strong and powerful composition using very simple objects, colors and sometimes his body.

The conceptual work is about anonymous identities and faded memories, where she worked directly on vintage amateur portraits using mixed techniques.
