Finally!
After some months working on it with Rebecca, aka Photo Obscura, we finally published the project!
On her website there is a section about this collaboration called Naomi Vona x Obscura, where Rebecca selected a series of vintage photos from her extraordinary collection, and sent it to me to manipulate them.
The result is an exclusive set of collages on sale on Photo Obscura only. The project also includes the possibility to purchase a print of one of the pieces (Playing Cool) available in different sizes.
On her website you can also find plenty of retro photos and prints, all dedicated to the love of vintage snapshots. I hope you will enjoy it and please, don’t hesitate do give me your feedback.
Yes, a collab!
A lovely artist from Sweden asked me to do an art collab with her, so here it is the final result. We sent each other some half done collages to complete, and I have to say that I really enjoyed to work on these wonderful vintage photos. Thank you Sofia 🙂

This is the result of an art collab done with the UK photographer Samantha Starkey. Thanks so much for this proposal and for sending me over some vintage photos to work on!
In this collab we worked together on an half done paper collage and then I manipulated one of her amazing instant tiny shots.

We worked as I used to do in the past with other artists: we sent each other some half done collages to complete. Below the colorful result.

I have been able to have an email exchange with Ceferino López, the man behind Chucherías de Arte Ediciones. This is a Spanish publisher specialized in the creation of affordable mini art books (the costs are around € 8,00-12,00 per book) about selected illustrators, photographers and artists. I was lucky to be selected for the “Fotoselecciones” mini book selection, and this is totally amazing!
The idea is to have a pocket portfolio to bring easily with you, but also to show an artistic project in a cool and elegant way. On the website you can purchase online the books, I recommend you to have a look around, it will worth your time!
