I just love the bright portraits of the American artist Tommy Mitchell. There is a huge amount of work on each piece and believe it or not, he uses acrylics for the colourful parts and ballpoint pens for the rest!

The Italian artist Antonio Occulto creates amazing minimal collages with a “dark”eye catchy look.
I was truly fascinated by his Anthology Project, composed by hundreds of collage works realised just using paper cuts, black acrylic and coffee.

It’s been a while since I created something new, and I started this year with the purpose to make something slightly different from my usual works, but I didn’t know exactly what.
After a chat with a friend, I discovered an artist using a photo transfer technique on canvas, and I was truly intrigued by this new discovery. So, I tried to work on it!
I really enjoyed to do this, and I am still experimenting and learning from this technique. The works below are my very first attempts, I hope you enjoy them and as always, every feedback is really precious.

The UK artist Olly Fathers has a unique style in creating his paintings.
These artworks are made with a view to representing a simplified city scape. Using 3D wood panels, Olly recreates an abstract city made of buildings and streets. The final touch is the way he paints, making “flow” the acrylic colors on the surface.
