Gift Card – Offer One Of My Art Classes

Hi everyone,

during these months I am adding more and more stuff into my website, and I thought to give you some updates.

First of all, my Zoom live art classes are still up and running. I am planning to keep them for the next year too. I have 4 different options and I am trying to accomodate people living in different areas, giving a morning and evening session for each art class.

If you fancy a special gift for your friends, I also created a gift card for my art classes. Once you purchase it, you will receive a code. You just need to add at checkout the code once you want to book an art class, and that’s it. The gift card is valid for one class of your choice and can be used just once. Moreover It will be valid for the whole 2021 year.

I have added new art collections in my website as the Black & White art. This collection is full of drawings made over vintage portraits using just two colours (very unusual for me!), and created for the 2017 Inktober Challenge.

Another new entry is the LP Covers Art collection, full of pieces created directly over vintage LP covers. It’s a collections of old works that I wanted to highlight, they have been neglected for a long time. Please take a look at it and tell me what do you think.

Last thing about the website is that I have added more artworks in the following collections: the Large, Medium and Small Photo Collages. They are a mix of new and old works, but at least they are all together in one place.

I hope that you will enjoy my works, and please don’t hesitate to drop me a message in case you need more info.

See you soon!

Website News & Updates

Hi everyone!

Happy Monday, I hope you are well and safe. I write you to give you a quick weekly update on what’s new in my website.

I have managed to add some new products as some fine art prints on sale at a special price of £35 each. These prints have been showcased during art markets/fairs and/or exhibitions. They could have some flaws as wrinkled corners due to the fact that they have travelled around. But they still look fab!

I have added a new online art class too – From Fashion Ad To Protest. This is one of my favourite class done so far, and I truly hope that you will enjoy as much as I do. Along with this new class, you will still find the other two up and running, Collage Nostalgia and Mixed Media On Paper. I hope to see you on one of them!

Last bit of news is about my new Art Collage Kit, a unique set of selected paper goodies coming directly from my personal collection. This is perfect to use for all your collage and creative projects. This set has been quite popular last week, so grab yours before it goes sold out!

That’s all for now, I hope to hear from you and please don’t hesitate to contact me if you wish.

Have a lovely start of the week!
Naomi

Zoom Live Art Classes – Book Your Session

Hello everyone!

I have been able to sort this out, and I have some Zoom live art classes bookings available for you.
Due to these uncertain times, I thought that this could be a good solution to continue to have my creative sessions, even if in a brand new format.

I love to connect with the community and miss a lot to teach and share my passion for art.
Overall I think that this solution will be ideal for many people abroad that wanted to take part of my London events, but could’t be physically here.
Now I can finally reach out everyone in the world 🙂

Below you can see the first 2 classes, I tried to pick a morning and evening session, but please leave me a feedback if you don’t find a date/timeframe suitable for your needs. I will try to adjust when possible, thanks for your patience!

How Are You & News

Hello everyone!

It’s been a while since my last post, but things have been so complicated and busy, only a crazy global pandemic would give me some time for this blog!

First of all, how are you? At the beginning of this year I was thrown into a vortex of things to plan ahead and people to meet. My everyday job also brought me a lot of things to think about, I never had so much time for the blog, or other things that I was loving doing in my spare time.

Now this unreal situation blew up all my plans, everything slowed down and I was able to take back my time, the precious time that we all want for ourselves. I am trying to stay positive and to see under this pandemic something good, because otherwise I would just start to panic and live a daily nightmare.

Furthermore my family is in Italy, is based in the first European red zone where everything started. At the beginning was quite hard to focus and to be optimistic, but we cannot lose our minds, it’s a mind game! They are fine and well, but still the situation is so uncertain that I don’t know what to expect from this strange times.

I hope that you and your beloved ones are fine and well, and I would like to know how everyone is coping with quarantine. As a creative person, I am trowing myself into making stuff, but networking is also very important.

I am accepting online art challenges, participating to Zoom chats, getting involved in any kind of creative activity that will help me out to reach out “normality”. I am really happy that I am being involved in so many creative projects and I have been contacted from different creative realities in order to share my love for art.

I hope that this post will be for you a way to speak up and to release the stress and if you want, a way to stay connected and try to find a pleasant distraction. I am learning some new skills and spending my time in doing things that I never had time to do before.

I am making videos, creating art journals and also starting to use new apps like TikTok 🙂 I also had the time to create my own website too, and I am really proud of what I am achieving. What about you? It’s ok if you did nothing, because there is no goal set at the end of this quarantine.

I believe that focusing on ourselves and taking our time back is also a way to do something. Contemporary society asks us to be hyper productive, multitasking and to have always a schedule to fill up our days. But human beings are not machines, we are not meant to become one! So, if you did absolutely nothing, I am very proud of you too.

Anyway, I also had days where I did nothing and wandered around my flat asking myself if I was enough. Sometimes you think that you are wasting your time doing nothing, but it’s not true, don’t listen to that inner voice! In conclusion, I just want to check on you all and I hope that this post will the starting point for some good conversations.

Take care,

Naomi

Featured – Art For Your Ear Podcast

Still can’t believe it!

Last week I had the big honour to be interviewed by Danielle Krysa, aka The Jealous Curator, during her “Art For Your Ear” Podcast. I was quite nervous at the beginning, but Danielle immediately helped me out to feel more relaxed and confident.

If you want to hear my crappy voice and of course have more insights aobut my art process, jump to her blog and listen the entire podcast here. Enjoy!

Jaco Putker – Sinister Art Prints

Love!

The Dutch contemporary artist and printmaker Jaco Putker creates a fascinating dialogue between digital and traditional techniques. His surreal compositions are a dark, magical, sinister and nostalgic melting pot.

Michael Meadors – Maiden America

Amazing!

The artist Michael Meadors creates amazing portraits that they look like collages.

The truth is that they are beautiful graphite and pens portraits finished with bright enamel paint.
