Inspired – Laura Blythma

So inspired!

I totally fell in love with the abstract nature inspired collages by the Australian designer Laura Blythma.

Inspired – Mairi Timoney

inspired!

Enjoy the wonderful mixed media artworks realised by the UK artist Mairi Timoney.

I love how she combines a pure minimal style, surreal landscapes and some delicate pastel colours shades.

Purple Crafts – Mariko Kusumoto

Amazing accessories!

The Japanese designer Mariko Kusumoto creates unique dreamy jewellery. I was particularly intrigued by her fiber creations, where organic forms taken from nature are the main topic of each product.

Her way to manipulate textiles and colours is extremely elegant and delicate. I also love the translucency/transparency combinations of the selected textiles, that give to each piece a very original touch.

Well done!

Purple Crafts – Secret Wood

Nature to wear!

The Canadian brand Secret Wood creates fine handmade rings with a dreamy twist. Each piece is realised  mixing fresh wood and coloured jewelry resin.

The magical switch is in the details – inside each ring you can see a miniature surreal scenery that takes inspiration from nature.

You can literally bring a landscape with you, isn’t it cool? For now the the brand produces just rings, but they are planning to create pendants too. Can’t wait to see them!

Inspired – Fajar P. Domingo

Inspiring!

The Indonesian artist Fajar P. Domingo plays around digital collages with a retro-surreal touch.

In many of these works you can see weird characters floating in cloudy skies.

Brooklyn Whelan – Exploring The Sky

Head in the clouds!

I love how the Australian painter Brooklyn Whelan represents the beauty of weather patterns, focusing his research in skies and clouds.

Using acrylics on canvas with a limited colours palette, Brooklyn makes you enjoy a new and exciting way to explore the nature.
