Inspired – Photodido

Photodido is a smart collaboration between the artists Sandra and Geda. Sandra studied in Lithuanian Accademy of Cinema and Theater and graduated from Animated Visual Arts. Geda is a professional photographer and graduate of Vilnius Art Academy.

It’s not a surprise that from these 2 brilliant minds came out this beautiful creative project. Their artworks are a mix and match of collage, installation and sculpture. It looks like that each piece came out from a tiny nostalgic time capsule that recalls a puppet theatre.

Amazing remake!

Although the song is a timeless hit now, this video is an amazing modern interpretation of Rocket Man song.

In his own interpretation of Elton’s iconic hit, Iranian filmmaker and refugee Majid Adin reimagines “Rocket Man” to tell a whole new story of adventure, loneliness and hope. The Cut, proudly supported by YouTube, invited filmmakers to create the first official music videos for three of Elton John’s most famous songs.

This animated video, composed from 4,816 still images, is the official videoclip for You Came Out performed by We Have Band.

Video was directed by David Wilson in collaboration with Fabian Berglund and Ida Gronblom from Wieden + Kennedy.

A friend of mine (thanks Simona!) recommended me this awesome music video. The animation is a kind of video collage of vintage records, the final result is a psychedelic journey.

I love the Lyric video created by Jimmy Turrel for the song Wow, performed by Beck. The music video is a kind of animated vintage style collage, full of colours and truly fun.

The video director collaborated with the designer Braulio Amada and animator Antonio Vicentini to realise it. Well done!

Amazing!

I truly love this 1920 style cartoon animation (with a creepy dark twist) realised by the super talented illustrator McBees. The video was created for UGO single, performed by the rock band Dead Pirates.

Magical!

Studio Inty, in collaboration with Studio OpArts and the sound designer Tim Aminov, realized this stunning interactive lights installation for LifeZone exhibition in Moscow. The viewers of this installation were able to interact with it, where a “haunted forest” came to life in a suggestive mixture of lights, shadows and music.

Installation offers the viewer to feel the atmosphere of the mystical forest and meet its inhabitants, by moving the light beam through the panoramic visual surface. The installation was placed in the center of contemporary art M’Ars, within interactive exhibition LifeZone (Moscow, May-June 2015).
To implement the idea of “magic light bulb” we have used IR LEDs in combination with a system of four high-fps cameras. To work with high-resolution (8K), we had to assemble a cluster of 4 computers.
A special area for photographing, where people could take a photo with one of the inhabitants of the forest, was organized next to the installation. Within two months over thousand photos have been shared.
